Bitvavo BV — Amsterdam
Software Developer, Backend — Instruments & Listings, Pricing & Observability
Jan 2022 – Present
Backend work across the instruments domain at one of Europe's largest crypto exchanges, where I was part of listing ~400+ cryptocurrencies from listing request through to live trading, then helped replace the manual, error-prone process with internal tooling the business could run itself at pace. I built a price service to give the exchange near-accurate pricing information across its listed assets, replatformed a business-critical Node.js service off AWS Lambda onto Kubernetes with zero downtime for users, and built observability dashboards for every project so there's a clear eye on what's happening in those services.

Onefit — partner management service, in more detail
A central hub aggregating workout routines and fitness programmes from external providers and exposing them to other domains, so users could book sessions matched to their goals. I owned the backend, supplying workout inventory from multiple third-party sources via a dedicated package per integration — which kept each provider's quirks isolated and testable. Replaced manual partner onboarding with an automated, secure inventory-building pipeline backed by Redis queues, contributed to routing, authentication and service configuration on Kubernetes and Istio, and ran knowledge-sharing sessions for the wider engineering team.
Hungama.com — media streaming platform, in more detail
Led delivery of a scalable live media streaming, transcoding and delivery platform on AWS: RTMP ingestion, AWS Transcoder for format conversion, and HLS adaptive-bitrate delivery to a wide range of devices. Acted as architecture planner and schema designer for new projects, allocated work across the team, and managed the Hungama.com web portal and its affiliate partner integrations end to end.
Side projects
Multi-agent AI orchestration framework
A personal framework built on Claude Code that runs a full software development workflow through coordinated AI agents — Orchestrator, Architect, Developer — rather than a single chat session, backed by ClickUp, GitHub, Slite and Figma via MCP. Includes a self-hosted observability stack tracking token cost and usage per agent session.
